1. Information We Collect
PuzRogue collects the following information to provide and improve the game:
Game Data (Stored Locally)
- Player progress: floor reached, tier progression, character collection
- Currency balances: gems, essence, stamina
- Settings: difficulty preference, audio settings, cosmetic selections
- Purchase history: one-time purchases, starter packs claimed
Analytics Data (Anonymous)
- Session duration and frequency
- Floors cleared, boss defeats, character usage
- Feature usage (gacha pulls, store visits, daily logins)
- No personally identifiable information is included
2. How We Use Your Information
Game data is used solely to provide the game experience — saving progress, tracking collections, and managing in-game currency.
Analytics help us understand how players interact with PuzRogue so we can improve gameplay, balance, and fix bugs.
3. Third-Party Services
PuzRogue integrates with the following services:
Google Play Games
- Cloud save backup for your progress
- Achievements and leaderboards
- Data shared: player stats visible on leaderboards
Google AdMob (Ads)
- Rewarded video ads: optional, player-initiated for in-game rewards
- No ads are shown without player consent
- AdMob may collect device identifiers for ad targeting per Google's privacy policy
- Purchasing the Premium Pack permanently removes all ads
Google Play Billing (In-App Purchases)
- Processes real-money transactions for the Premium Pack
- Transaction data is handled by Google; we do not store payment information
4. Data Storage & Security
All game save data is stored locally on your device and encrypted using AES-256 before being written to disk.
Cloud saves through Google Play Games are optional and managed by Google's secure infrastructure.
- Save files are encrypted with industry-standard AES-256 encryption
- No game data is transmitted to our servers
- Analytics data is anonymous and aggregated — no individual player profiles
- No third parties receive your personal or game data from us
5. Children's Privacy
PuzRogue is designed for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
6. Your Rights
- Delete your data: Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored game data. Cloud saves can be removed through Google Play Games settings.
- Opt out of ads: Purchase the Premium Pack to permanently remove all advertising.
- Opt out of analytics: Disable usage sharing in your device settings.
- Request data deletion: Contact us directly to request deletion of any data we may hold.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of PuzRogue after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
8. Data Security Details
Encryption: Save data is encrypted with AES-256 before storage.
Transmission: Only Google Play Services APIs handle data transmission for cloud saves and billing. No data is sent to our own servers.
Retention: Game data is retained on-device until the app is uninstalled or the user requests deletion.
Access: Game data is only accessible by the PuzRogue app on the device where it was created.
